Mr. Wyndell K. Fordham, age 84, of Eastman, Georgia passed away Monday, September 25, 2023. A visitation will be held at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Snowhill Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am.
Mr. Fordham was of the Baptist faith. He served and retired from the United States Coast Guard and later retired from the Carl Vinson V.A. Medical Center in Dublin, Georgia.
Mr. Fordham is survived by his children; Randy Fordham (Teresa) and Gerald Fordham. He is also survived by his sister; Nora White. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren; Randy Fordham Jr. (Jayci), Gerald Fordham Jr. (Tiffany), Jeremy Fordham, Ashley Thornton (Tony), Harley Fordham, Liza Leverette (Jason), Tierra Davis, Mikayla Beasley (Travis), and Shanna Smith (Eric), as well as many great and great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Fordham was preceded in death by his wife Rita Fordham, his parents; Elvis and Ruby Fordham, his brothers Hilbert Fordham, James Fordham (Faye), Jack Fordham, and Bobby Fordham. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Carolyn Meeks and Annie Grace Green, as well as his son Michael Fordham and his grandson Patrick Fordham.
