Mr. Windel F. Whitehead, age 72, of Eastman died Friday, July 23, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Whitehead was born August 20, 1948 in McRae, Georgia to the late Leila Wigley and Forrest Whitehead. He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Army Veteran, an accomplished artist, and attended Alamo Church of God. He loved camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Louanne Whitehead of Eastman; Sons, Jarrett Whitehead and Charles Chapman; daughter-in-law, Tammy Carter; sister, Charlotte Aldridge; grandchildren, Hannah Whitehead, J.J. Whitehead, Molly Whitehead, Jack Whitehead, and Kyla Chapman; great grandson, Luka Dentamin; canine friends, Ralphie, Hersey, and Peanut.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Wayne Whitehead and Mickey Whitehead.
