at her home surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 4:00 pm in the chapel at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior.
Born on July 27, 1962 in Havre de Grace, Maryland; she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Dykes) Law. Willie Beth's first eleven years were spent on 1810 Nuttal Avenue, Edgewood, Maryland; a small community outside of the Edgewood Arsenal Army Base. The Law home was the community base for all the children that grew up on that street to meet and play. Her front yard was a baseball field, kickball field, and basketball court. During heavy rains the neighborhood friends would all come swim in the watered covered yard, yes, it was deep enough to swim in.
Beth was the baby of the family so all of the friends knew not to make Willie cry. If they did, her big brother would take each one on by throwing a rock or stick at them. Most of the time that happened if they called John Mark "out" in a game.
Beth came from a musical family with her oldest sister, Patricia Law Shelton, a pianist and organ player, her older brother, Joey Law on the saxophone, and her other brother John on the drums. Beth played the flute. Beth was a member of the Girl Scouts of America.
After the death of her oldest brother, Clarence L. Law Jr. in 1972 and Clarence Law Sr. having a heart attack; the Law family loaded up and moved to Eastman, Georgia in 1974.
Beth was a 1980 graduate of Dodge County High School. Following graduation Beth worked numerous jobs touching lives along the way. Her earliest years were spent being the right hand of her brother Joey Law at Western Auto. She later in life spent many years working as the cook, bus driver, and go to girl at Great Beginnings Kinder Academy where she loved on every child that walked through the door, many of which she would hold on her hip while she cooked. After leaving Great Beginnings, she began her career at Dodge County High School from 2004 until 2020 where she served as a Job Coach for the special needs department helping prepare students for life beyond school. Her heart was with special needs children and championing them at the Special Olympics. Beth also served many years as a bus driver from 2008-2017 for the special needs bus route and took pride in loving on every child that stepped onto her bus. As she continued her career at Dodge County High School, she served alongside her best buddies, Tom Cranford and Joey Jones, as a paraprofessional for the agriculture and automotive classes. She also took pride in helping lead the design, cultivation, and care of the Butterfly Garden at Dodge County High School where her love of flowers, gardening, and creativity was able to shine. She faithfully prepared it for proms, dances, and all events that took place making sure it was something others could enjoy. She faithfully served at Dodge County High School until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. She was awarded the Pride of the Tribe award in 2019 for her faithful years of service and pride she took in her job. Following her diagnosis, she continued her greatest job as a Granny, where she took her role of helping with her grand babies and making sure they enjoyed every adventure with her while she could.
