Obituary

Mrs. Willie Burnham Brown, age 81, was born on July 24, 1940 in Rhine, GA to the late Billie and Lelia Burnham. She passed away Monday, March 21, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at Old Fair Haven Cemetery on Tuesday, March 22 at 3pm, with Mr. Bobby Joe Ryals officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovett Brown; son, Irvin (Digger) Brown; Grandson, Russ Holder; brother, Wendell (Annette) Burnham; Sisters-in-law, Rachel (Robert) Bowen, Hazel Roberson, Sue Pitts, and Janet (Wayne) Hickman; Brothers-in-law, John Kay Brown and Larry Brown.
Mrs. Brown was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. After retiring from the Quality Control Department at Reynolds, she kept children in her home. She loved baking, and was an avid gardener boasting beautiful flowers all around her home.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Holder (Mike); son, Eric Brown; granddaughter, Bree Harrell (Bryant); two great granddaughters, Annie and Heidi Harrell; Sisters-in-law, Johnnie Kate Brown and Patsy Brown; Brothers-in-law, Horace Pitts and John Roberson; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Russ Holder Memorial Scholarship, a fund started by Mrs. Brown in loving memory of her grandson. Checks can be made to MGA Foundation with Russ Holder Scholarship in the memo line and mailed to 100 University Parkway, Macon, GA 31206.
