William Hardman Long's Obituary
Mr. William Hardman Long, age 72, of Eastman passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024 at The Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Rick Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 til 2 pm. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Long was a lifelong resident of Eastman, born January 14, 1952 to the late Mary Alice Bennett Long and Ralph Naaman Long. He was a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church, partner/owner with his brother, Allen in Farmers Processing & Storage Co., Inc.
He is survived by children, Margaret Ann Long Layson (Charles) and Ralph William "Bill" Long; siblings, Ralph Bennett Long, Allen Norris Long (Susan), and Cynthia Ann Long Jones (Chuck); uncle, John Allen Bennett; beloved aunt, Virginia Leathers Bennett.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Eastman First United Methodist Church, 5324 Anson Ave., Eastman, Ga 31023 or the Charity of your choice.
