Mr. Wendel Braswell, age 76, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, April 7, 2023.
Visitation will be Monday evening, April 10, 2023 from 5 til 7pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 1 pm at Zebulon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Braswell was born January 3, 1947 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Mary Coleman and Kennie W. Braswell. He was a deacon at Zebulon Baptist Church and retired electrician for Husqvarna. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. He was a die- hard Dodge County Indian, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Georgia Bulldog fan.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marie Braswell and great-grandson, Colson Jones.
He is survived by his children, Mark Braswell (Amy), Wendy Hilliard (Jason) and Tony Braswell (Brandi); grandchildren, Brianna Jones, Anya Braswell, Mackenzie Braswell, Colton Braswell, Brock Braswell, and Kennedy Braswell; great-grandchildren, Waylon Jones, Wyatt Jones, and River Jones; and one sister, Wilson Johnson (Larry Gene).
