Walter J. Buchanan's Obituary
Mr. Walter F. Buchanan, age 87, of Eastman died Friday, January 9, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Thomaston, Ga.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 in the Chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 til 7 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
Mr. Buchanan was a veteran of WWII, a retired steel worker with Atlantic Steel, and a member of Zebulon Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughter, Rita Anderson of Deerborn, MI.; sons, Alan Buchanan (Sharon) of Corinth, KY. and Daryl Buchanan (Fran) of Villa Rica, Ga.; brother, Ernest Buchanan (Patricia) of Molena, Ga.; sister, Floyd Lusk of Tacoma, Wa.
Mr. Buchanan was predeceased by his wife, Perlene Evans Buchanan.
