Mrs. Vonnie Yawn, age 76, of Chauncey, Georgia died Friday, September 3, 2021 at The Dodge County Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Yawn was born March 10, 1945, in Telfair County to the late Polly Hearn Livingston and Harry Livingston. She was a member of Providence Primitive Baptist Church where she served as clerk. She was a loving and strong wife, mother, and grandmother. Matt says, "She was Best Mama ever".
She is survived by her husband, James M. Yawn Jr.; son, Elder Matt Yawn (Jennifer); siblings, Rita Stone (Boe), Janice Owens (Jerry), and Perry Livingston; grandchildren, Jacob, Joanna, and Josiah Yawn.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Betty Yawn and Norma Hart.
