After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, Dr. Vicki Williams Morgan passed away peacefully on Friday December 13, 2024, at the age of 68.
Dr. Morgan grew up in Milan, Georgia, but lived her adult life in metro Atlanta. She is preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life Michael Morgan as well as her parents Gene and June Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Melia Harrington (Wil) of Suwanee, and two grandchildren Lawson and Wilton. Sisters Cindy Greene (Tommy) of Eastman and Gina Roberts (Lonnie) of Hazlehurst. Brothers-in-Law John Morgan (Jan) of Ocilla, and Luke Morgan of Douglas. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Vicki was a lifelong Georgian and a proud alumna of the University of Georgia. She received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia and proceeded to dedicate 37 years to caring for countless children as a compassionate and skilled pediatrician.
Vicki's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished her 30-year marriage to her childhood sweetheart, Mike. We find peace in knowing they are now united once again in Heaven. Vicki deeply loved her daughter, Melia, and cherished the immeasurable light and love her grandchildren brought to her life.
Beyond her professional life, Vicki enjoyed attending UGA football games, traveling the world, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
A service to celebrate Vicki's life will be held at 11:30 am on January 18th, 2025, at Creekside Church at 673 Peach Tree Parkway, Cumming, Georgia 30041. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, The Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
Hardy – Towns Funeral Home in Eastman, Georgia is assisting the family with arrangements.
