Mr. Pio Trifonio Infante (T.I.) Papel, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Visitation for Mr. Papel will be held at Hardy – Towns Funeral Home Friday, October 31, 2025 from 6:00 til 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 10:00 am at the St. Marks Catholic Church with Rev. John Stephen Ariko officiating. Committal services will be held at graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery with Masonic Rites on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
Mr. Papel is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann McCook Papel; his children, Tony Papel (Charlene), and Trina Papel McMahan (Alan); his grandchildren, Andrew Cook Papel and Mason Wright Papel; his siblings, Norma Somoray (Elec), Tony Papel (Beth), Analisa Kadam (Bala), Monaliza Kama, Valentino Papel (Agrifina), Gamaliel Papel (Pat), and Monching Papel (Linda); his sister-in-law, Fidela Papel; father-in-law, Thad Potts; brothers-in-law, Lee McCook (Sherri), Ray McCook (Teresa), Jay McCook (Robin), and Grif McCook (Teresa): many cousins, nieces, and nephews across The Philippines and The United States.
Mr. Papel is predeceased by his parents, Trifonia Infante and Pedro M. Papel; and mother, Juana Papel; siblings, Reynaldo Papel, Nestor Papel, Junior Papel, Pedrito Papel, and Norieta Papel; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Potts; father-in-law, Eddie McCook.
The family of Mr. Papel will receive visitors at their home at 5226 Pine Street, Eastman, Georgia on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
