Thelma Suellen Black, age 68, of Eastman died Monday, January 25, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday January 27, 2016 at Hardy-Towns Chapel. Interment will be in Rock Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home with Rev. Myron Parkerson and Pastor Larry Mullis officiating.
She is survived by children, Frank Gregory Black (Shannon), Robert Timmy Black (Marilyn), Johnny Black (Tracey), Matt Black, and Morgan Black; grandchildren, Jennifer Carter, Crystal Black, Azaiver Black, Tracy Branch, Trey Matthews, Brittany Black, Arin Black, and Dawson Black; twelve Great Grandchildren.
Miss Black was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from Piggly Wiggly. She was a graduate of Telfair County High School.
Family members commented, "She was the world's strongest woman in mind and heart".
Those serving as pallbearers are Danny Thompson, Steve Thompson, Eddie Thompson, Daren "Goat" Roland, Arron Curry, and Eddie Attaway.
