Mrs. Susan Lynn Smith Barnwell, age 51, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 15, 2021.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 pm til 6 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home.
Susan's most loved role was being a mother to her children Cliff and Cameron Barnwell. She was a devoted mother and has left many life lessons with them because of the love she shared with them.
Mrs. Barnwell was most known as being a medical assistant to Dr. Bird and a loving childcare provider. She also worked at Hanes and Sara Lee. Her favorite place on earth was Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island.
She is survived by her sons, Cliff Barnwell of Nashville, TN and Cameron Barnwell of Helena; mother, Joanne Williamson of Eastman; grandmother, Mary McCullars of Eastman; sisters, Michelle Smith of Eastman, Frances Goodwin of Winston-Salem, NC and Michelle Smith of Atlanta; brothers, Michael Smith and Jason Smith of Atlanta; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Buck Smith.
