Mr. Scott White, age 56, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Helena City Cemetery (also known as Oakland Cemetery). Rev. Charles Cravey will officiate the service.
Mr. White was born on August 8, 1968 in Telfair County, Georgia. He had a deep love for the outdoors and was known to be an animal whisperer. He had a special love for horses and was a State Champion barrel racer. Motorcycles were another passion of his. Above all, Mr. White loved food and sharing a meal with his beloved family as often as possible.
Mr. White is survived by his children, Scott W. White, Jr. (Mayra), Callen Mark Sheffield, Dakota White, and Layne W. White (Brooke); his grandchildren, Corbin, Layklyn, and Tinley; his mother, Evelyn White Brown (Jim Morris Sr.); his siblings, Scarlett Driggers (Mark), Natalie Bridges, Randall Burnham (Camille); niece, Miranda D. Stewart (Brian); great-niece and nephew, Tatum Grace Stewart and Landry Brooks Stewart; aunts and uncles, Grace McLaughlin (Ted), Pete White (Catherine), Charles White (Debbie), and Joey Hobbs; many cousins; and his caretaker and dear friend, Tabitha Tedder.
Mr. White was predeceased by his wife, Debra Smith; parents, Willie Thomas Burnham and Charlie Max Brown; and his maternal grandparents, Clifford Walker White and Genetha Yawn White.
