Mr. David Scott Marbut Jr., age 36, died Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Dodge County Hospital.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Sure Foundation Church with Rev. Tyler Kirkley and Rev. Ron Whittington officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Serving as pallbearers are Derric Muncher, Noah Hodges, Tyler Abercrombie, Michael Abney, Tanner Martin and Jason Thompson.
Scott was a member of Lakeside Church. He was a graduate and leader at Sure Foundation, where he enjoyed being a worship team member. He loved working with his hands and was foreman at All Things New and Remodeled.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Marbut; parents, David and Natalie Marbut; siblings, Jennifer Loudermilk (Peter) and Lauren Bugh (Brian); nieces and nephews, Parker Loudermilk, Taj Leach, Charlie Young, Callie Young, and Ellis Wade.
