Obituary

Mrs. Sarilu Grant Woodard, age 91, of Eastman died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at The Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2017 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating. Visitation will from 2 til 3 p.m. at the funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Woodard, widow of Wilton Woodard, was born March 18, 1925 to the late, Annie Forrest Hardy and Oscar A. Grant. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and retired from The Dodge County Board of Education. She was an avid Braves Fan and and gardener. She loved spending time with family, especially grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Wilma Slye (Bobby), Forrest Woodard (Glenda), and Grant Woodard (Connie) all of Eastman; grandchildren, Pam Whittle (Michael), Kevin Slye, Kit Brown (David), Shane Woodard, Kaysi Woodard, Dr. Gina Reinhart (Danny), and Jodi Spivey; step grandchildren, Lori Blount (Tom) and Michelle Gray (Bodie); eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Katurah Kelly, Jack Grant (Mary), John Grant (Thelma), and sister-in-law, Wilene Grant.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to The Christian Life Center or the charity of your choice.
