Mrs. Sandra Childs Hardy, age 76, of Eastman died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardy, the daughter of the late Troy G. and Mable Rozar Childs, was a member of Friendship Methodist Church and a retired school teacher.
She is survived by her husband Alfred Hardy; son Charles Albert "Bert" Hardy (Susan); sister, Margie Berry; grandchildren, Dylan Hardy Catherine), Jesse Hardy (Sherry), Jill Stickney, and Michael Smith; ten great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by son, Jerry Hardy; sister, Beth Longshore; and brother, Richard Childs.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
