Mrs. Ruth Ross McDaniel, age 100, of Eastman died Monday, September 1, 2014 at McRae Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Zebulon Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilbanks officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 2:00 pm.
Mrs. McDaniel was born March 18, 1914 in Bleckley County to the late Albert and Della Bradley Ross. She was member of Zebulon Baptist Church, and retired from Stuckey's Inc.
She is survived by one daughter, Jan Davis of Macon, Ga.; sisters, Allene Brown and Merle Stevenson; brother, A.L. Ross (Carol); six grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McDaniel was predeceased by her husband, Horace McDaniel, Daughters, Charlotte Gilbert and Ann Lovins and son, Wilson McDaniel.
