Mrs. Rossie “Roz” Moore Mullis, age 82, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Hardy – Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Passmore officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Mullis was born December 23, 1943 to the late Lillie Lee Fincher and Robert Dewey Moore. She was a member at Sweet Home Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, doing yard work, playing video games like Pac-Man and Mario, and swimming in the pool. She loved her animals and spending time with family.

Mrs. Mullis is survived by her children, Steve Pruett (Angie), Gretchen M. Horne (Dennis), Wade Mullis (Stephanie), and Lynn M. Johnson (Randy); her grandchildren, April Mills (Raleigh), Caitlin Horne, Samantha Siegel (Jarod), Justin Hardin, Sybel Mullis, Halie Stafford, Russell Pruett (Jessica), Jasmine Bailey (Logan), Cheyenne Warrell, Chase Warrell; her great grandchildren, Kinley, Kade, Will, James, Kennedy, Holden, Ivelyn, Dalilah, Preston, and Julia; and special friends, Rhonda Hendrix, and Tonya Hendrix.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mullis was predeceased by her nine brothers and sisters, and her loving husband Jimmy “Rick” Mullis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter of Eastman or Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehab in Cochran.
