From there Ron went on to be the Vice President of National Graphics Inc. from 1979 to 1998 a printing business formed with two long term friends John Stanley and the late Tim Combs. During all of this time Ron was a dedicated Deacon and placed his faith and tools and service with the Lithonia Baptist Church, Rockdale Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Conyers. Ron was also an active and devoted board member of Creative Ministries from 1983 until his death. During Ron's years of enjoying retirement he was noted as a creative entrepreneur often dabbling in real estate investments. Ron also had a love of all sports and was a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs fan. He looked forward to every football season and enjoyed watching the games with family and friends.
Ron was known throughout his life from the time he could drive for having fancy cars, from his '56 Ford Fairlane to his most recent convertible.
