Mr. Robert Samuel Dunbar Jr., age 76, of Warner Robins, Georgia died Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church located on First Street in Macon, GA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Dunbar was born August 25, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Madelyn Huxford and Robert Samuel Dunbar. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He taught electronics for 18 years, retiring in 2010. Mr. Dunbar was an active member of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church. He loved the Lord and his church. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha and earned a Master's Degree in Adult Secondary Education from University of Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Arnold Dunbar; children, Robert S. Dunbar III (Melanie), Sarah Elizabeth Brooks, and Thomas Andrew Dunbar (Luna); grandchildren, Toby Brooks, Sonny Brooks, Sammy Dunbar IV, and Lily Marlow Dunbar.
