Rev. Roy Williams, age 83, went to his heavenly home on June 17, 2026. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Rhine Baptist Church at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Bay Springs Cemetery in Rhine.

Rev. Williams was born March 12, 1943 to the late Zellie Rogers and Morris Williams in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to entering ministry, he served as Plant Manager for Standard Candy Company. As a Pastor, he served many years at Zion Hope Baptist, Antioch Baptist, Vilula Baptist, and Friendship Baptist Churches. He was also a faithful member of Rhine Baptist Church.

Rev. Williams is survived by his wife, Peggy P. Williams; his children, Ashley W. Conley (Doug), Megan Monk (Sean), and Cylis Matthew Hamm; his grandchildren, Serena Peacock (Dakota), Caroline Williams, Merissa Williams, Jaydee Burch, Joseph Burch; his great-grandchildren, Jolie Monk, Presley Monk, and Randall Peacock; and his siblings, Burch Williams, Ann Phillips, Janice Wright; and his daughter-in-law, Pattie Williams.

In addition to his parents, Rev. Williams was predeceased by his sons, Jody Williams and Royce Williams.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cornerstone Christian Academy at 5107 Oak Street, Eastman, Georgia 31023.
