Mrs. Susan Renee Shadix, age 61, of Hawkinsville died March 4, 2020, at Regency Hospital in Macon.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shadix was born September 17, 1958, in Macon, Georgia to the late Billy Ray Gatlin and Sue Grant Gatlin. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a retired educator. She loved to read, cook, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Shadix is survived by her husband, Terry Shadix; daughters, Heather Baggett Dykes (Rad) of Cary, GA, and Jaida Shadix Moulder (Bryan) of Winder, GA; mother, Sue Gatlin; sister, Rhonda Gatlin; grandchildren, Taylor Faulk, Gavin Faulk, Lila Dykes, Coleman Dykes, Parker Moulder, Landon Moulder, Tristen Moulder, and Ansley Moulder.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Madison Moulder.
