Mrs. Patsy Ricks Williams, age 74, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at her home following a brief illness.
Mrs. Williams was born February 28, 1946 in Alamo, Georgia: she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Nolan Eason Ricks, Sr. and Lillie Mae Herrin Ricks, a grandson, Barrett Davis, two sisters, Shirley Jean Purdee and Jackie Ann Carter and two brothers, Lonnie Glen Ricks and Nolan Eason "Billy" Ricks, Jr. She operated Mrs. Pat's Concessions at Laurens County Speedway in Dexter for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Williams of Dexter, daughter, Kay (Scotty) Bass of Hartsfield, son, Kenny (Tamanie) Jones of Rentz, five grandchildren, Alex (Caroline) Jones, Alyssa Jones, Jenna Rae Bates, Jaida (John) Maddox and Annah (Jordan) Davis, seven great-grandchildren, five step-children, R. Scott Williams, Kevin (Kelly) Williams, Teri Dubiel, Lisa Bohannon and Debbie Fairchild and her brothers and sisters, Larry (Joy) Ricks, Willadene Stokes, Venita (Jim) Bork, Novella Brewer, Ronnie (Kerry) Ricks, Mackie (Margena) Ricks and Shannon Evans.
