Mr. Obie Evans, age 84, died Sunday, May 31, 2020.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born October 12, 1935, in Dodge County to the late Clara McCranie and Wilmer Evans. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed camping, fishing, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. He was a former employee of Robins AFB as well as a former barber. He was retired from the Middle Georgia College police department, where he served for 22 years.
Mr. Evans is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Janice Evans; granddaughter, Shannon Williams (Daniel); and great-granddaughter, Addison Chambers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Roland Evans; and sister, Montine Willard.
