Mrs. Nancy Wright, age 92, of Eastman died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Serenity Place in Dublin.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Zebulon Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wright was born October 27, 1922 to parents, Annie Burney and Albert Lewis Johnson. She was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church and retired from the Dodge County Board of Education as well as Stuckey's.
She is survived by five daughters, Mervin Lee Webb of Homerville, Ga., Michell Ann Greer of Lakeland, Ga., Alice Faye Oxford of Eastman, Ga., Patricia Dianne Wright of Lakeland, Ga., and Barbara J. Andrews of East Dublin, Ga.; one son, Edward Wright (Faye); sister, Suvilla Pickett of Hawthorne, Fl.; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Wright; brothers, Edgar W. Johnson and Bill L. Johnson; Sisters, Frankie Shirley, Annie Rea Saunders, Martha B. Jordan, and Alene Sellers.
