Mrs. Myrtice C. Peacock, age 85, of Chauncey, Ga. died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at The Dodge County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Rock Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Williams and Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 til 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Peacock was born September 7, 1931 in Dodge County to parents, the late, Viney Skipper and General Coleman. She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Peacock (Judy) of Eastman, W.H. Peacock (Elizabeth) of Chauncey, and Larry Peacock (Debbie) of Helena; sisters, Willie Barwick of Charleston, SC and Zelda Huttoe of Eastman; nine grandchildren, Amanda Ray (Richie), Jason Collins (Kela), MacKennen Collins (Jennifer), Anthony Peacock (Kim), Keith Peacock (Sonia), Gene Peacock, Scarlet Brown (Sam), Cole Peacock (Kayla), and Kayla Peacock;
Several great grandchildren also survived.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henry J. Peacock.
