Monroe "Tony" Burnham, 79, passed away October 11, 2026 at his home in Eastman, Georgia. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, Tony was the youngest child of the late Rev. Warren G. and Evelyn (Wells) Burnham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dr. Warren W. Burnham and Larry D. Burnham, and his sister, Sylvia (Burnham) Cook.
Tony lived his early years in Abbeville but moved with his family to Eastman at a young age. He graduated from Dodge County High School before earning his degree from Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, Georgia. He began his career working in distribution for Stuckey's, Inc. in Eastman. He later transferred to Collinsville, Illinois, where he was employed in logistics management for Pet Dairy, Inc. and then to Batesville, Indiana, where he was employed in distribution management with Batesville Casket Company. After living in Marietta, Georgia, for several years, Tony returned home to Eastman in 1991. He owned and operated A.B.B. Computer Company in Eastman until his retirement.

Tony enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, and RV travel. He also enjoyed discovering new bourbons and believed bourbon is best shared with friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
