Mr. Henry Michael "Mike" Parkerson, age 70, entered into the arms of Jesus Saturday, January 20, 2024.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church #1. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
Mr. Parkerson was a deacon and active member of Antioch Baptist Church #1. He loved the Lord and his church. He was retired from Blue Bird and enjoyed woodworking and riding dirt roads. He loved his grandchildren and loved being their "Pa".
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jan Parkerson; sons, Fess Parkerson and Caleb Parkerson (Dawn); brother, Myron Parkerson (Kim); grandchildren, Taylor Parkerson, Jadelyn Parkerson (Jacob), Allison Hardy, Scarlett Parkerson, and C.J. Parkerson.
Mr.Parkerson was predeceased by his parents Mary May and H.M. Parkerson and daughter-in-law, Tonya Parkerson.
