Mr. Mike Joseph Ethridge, age 58 of Eastman passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Dahl McDermitt officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 til 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Ethridge was born August 4, 1966 in Eastman to the late Joan Fennell Ethridge and Don Ethridge. Mike was an avid golfer and also enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, looking for arrowheads, and was an expert Civil War historian. While a senior at Dodge County High School, Mike won a two man playoff to finish second place low medalist in the AAA state golf championship held on May 10, 1982, at Dublin Country Club. He weas the low medalist for the Dodge County Team and was chosen for the All Middle Georgia Golf First Team by the Macon Telegraph and News. Mike was a partner at Ethridge Plastics in Eastman with his father, Don and brother, Mark and the company went to new heights upon his joining the firm.
He is survived by his daughter, Bailey Marie Ethridge; brother, Mark Ethridge (Brenda) ; niece, Kayla Ethridge Herring; nephew, Brennan Ethridge; great nieces, Charli Kate Hering and Sami Herring; aunt, Cass Taylor and cousin, Lisa Taylor Couillard (Mike).
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his uncle, Jack Taylor and cousin, Derrick Taylor.
