Mertie White, age 85, of Gresston died Sunday, May 6, 2012. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 8, at 3p.m. at Gresston Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Gresston Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service in the social hall.
Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Merle Collins (Sam) and Joan Tripp (Jimmy); one sister, Betty Johnston; five grandchildren, Rhonda Burnham (Rusty), Lorrie Kitchens (Harry), Mike Collins (Samena), Jim Tripp, and Jennifer Lee (David); five great-grandchildren, Kip Burnham (Mandy), Dylan Griffis, Clint Lee, Colby Lee, Clay Lee; and one great-great grandchild, Addyson Burnham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey White and her son, Joey White.
