Ms. Mary Sue Sheffield Hogan, age 70, of Abbeville, Georgia died Friday, December 8, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ocmulgee Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Hogan was born March 4, 1953 in Eastman to the late Minnie Myrtle Coleman and John Edward Sheffield. She was a former employee of Lithonia Lighting. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to fish and cook.
She is survived by children, Renae long, Todd Taylor, Donna Taylor, and Amy Taylor; grandchildren, Ashly Alligood, Cody Long, Brittany Long, Brihana Johnson, Aaliyah Johnson, Jade Harrell, Alyvia Taylor, Taylor Noles, and Kimberly Taylor; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Johnnie Faye Singletary, John Frank Sheffield, Frances Bass, and John Edward Sheffield Jr.
