Mrs. Mary Van Helms, age 91, of Rhine, Ga. died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at Cottondale Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating.
Mrs. Helms was born December 20, 1923 in Eastman, Ga to the late Nancy Coleman and Will Bracewell. She was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church and retired from Eastman Cotton mill.
She is survived by her children, Kim Pitts, Cathy Jones (Van), Ed Helms Jr. (Carol), and Greg Helms (Sheila); daughter-in-law, Rhonda Helms; son-in-law, Wimberly Bryan; former son-in-law, Wade Pitts; Grandchildren, Shelly Faulk, Jennifer Yawn (Matt), Kevin Jones (Beth), Claye Jones (Ashley), Kayley Mullis (Drew), Chris Bryan (Candi), Brad Bryan (Michelle), Kelli Bryan, Davey Helms (Mitzi), Kyle Helms, Brittany Lewis (Charles), Rae McCranie (Clint), Morgan Pitts Tomerlin (Frank), Daniel Pitts and Justin Pitts; twenty-three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles Helms Sr.; children, Danny V. Helms, Cynthia Bryan, Wayne Helms, and Nancy Helms; grandchildren, Robin Helms and Joe Helms.
