Mrs. Martha G. Hardy, age 98, of Eastman passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Hardy-Towns Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hardy was born March 31, 1919 in Augusta. She was the youngest of eleven siblings. She was a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church for seventy years. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Hubert Hardy.
She is survived by daughter, Carol Veal of Atlantic Beach, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Debbie Hardy of Eastman; grandchildren, Dr. Nicole Beedle (Tige) of Orlando, Fl., Brian Beedle of Atlantic Beach, Fl., Lisa Hardy, Jaye Howell (Ben) of Eastman, and Justin Hardy (Justine) of Savannah, Ga.; four great grandchildren, Madison Hardy, Allison Hardy, Jax Howell, and Lennon Hardy.
The family request the omission of flowers and suggest contributions to Eastman First United Methodist Church.
