Ms. Marcie L. Peacock, age 55, of Eastman, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardy – Towns Funeral Home with Dr. Walter and Donna Peacock and Linda Peacock Bell officiating. A private committal will follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Ms. Peacock was born on November 28, 1970 in Laurens County, Georgia to Mrs. Linda Gayle Peacock and the late Johnny Peacock. Ms. Peacock was a devout Christian who was firm in her faith. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and also frequently visited First Baptist Church of Eastman. She served the Lord in many ways and appreciated her time at the Walk to Emmaus. Ms. Peacock graduated from Dodge County High School. Afterwards, she attended North Georgia Technical College where she earned her degree to become a Medical Laboratory Technician. She worked at Dodge County Hospital as well as Fairview Park Hospital. Ms. Peacock had an entrepreneur’s heart, much like her father. She enjoyed volunteer work. Mollie, her dog, was a special companion. Her nieces and nephews were a tremendous joy in her life.
Ms. Peacock is survived by her mother, Linda Gayle Peacock; her nieces and nephews, Chelsea Haley (Justin), Ryan Peacock, and Seth Peacock; her great nieces and nephews, Demi Peacock, Ayla Peacock, Wyatt Peacock, Charlie Peacock, Cullen Peacock, Clyde Peacock, Dawson Fountain, Lexi Fountain, Shelby Fountain, and Jada Fountain; her aunt, Patti Moore; her uncle, Dr. Walter Peacock (Donna); special relatives, Ann Kanard and Hayden Kanard; and her helpful friends, Connie Seacrest and Vanessa Stinson.
In addition to her father, Ms. Peacock is predeceased by her brother, Darrin Peacock; her grandparents, J.B. Williamson (Myrtle) and Emmis Peacock (Bertha); and her aunt and uncle, C.W. Peacock (Mary)
