Mr. Lynn Pinnell, age 69, of Griffin and Eastman, Ga. died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 in the Chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.
Mr. Pinnell was born January 1, 1947 to the late Stella Louise Loyd and Richard Pinnell. He was a graduate of Dodge County High School and served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad.
He is survived by sons, Clint Pinnell of Eastman and Craig Pinnell of Springfield, Ga.; one sister, Gail Stuckey (Lee) of Thomasville, Ga.; granddaughter, Mary Blaire Pinnell of Richmond Hill, Ga; special friend, Kathy Ethridge of Griffin, Ga; Aunts, Charlotte Mercer of Conyers, Ga. and Bertie Sue Dempsey (James) of Cochran, Ga
