Mrs. Lois Gay Barrs, age 73, of Eastman died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Gerald Conley and Rev. Dwayne Burney officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barrs was born October 11, 1941 to the late Emma Zella Hutto and William Gay. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was retired from Shorty's Quick Stop.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Gaskins; son, James Barrs; brother, Jimmy Gay (Shirley); sister-in-law, Dot Gay; grandchildren, Michael Patterson, Steven Patterson, and Shellie Gaskins; great grandson, Landon Patterson.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Barrs and brother, Larry Gay.
