Mr Lige Shepard Jr., age 96, of Eastman died Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his residence.
Due to CDC recommendations, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Shepard was born November 23, 1923 in Thomaston, Ga. He was retired from the United States Airforce, where he served in World War II and Korea and was a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Daniels; children, Donald Wayne Shepard and Judy Batchelor (Buddy); step children, Joe Daniels (Teresa), Jeffrey Daniels (Darla), and Deborah Bennett (Larry); grandchildren, Mike Shepard (Alicia) and Brian Batehelor (Lina); seven step grandchildren; five great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren; sister, Ernestine Dudley and sister-in-law, Linda Shepard.
