Mr. Lewis D. Higingbotham, age 72, of Eastman, Georgia passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Higingbotham was born on September 11, 1951 to the late Junior David Higingbotham and Maxine Delores Lewis. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He also served the Eastman community through his years of loyal service as a Deputy with the Dodge Country Sheriff's Department. He also served with the Eastman Fire Department until his retirement. He was a valued member of the Dodge County Hospital's Red Shirt Auxiliary. In his spare time, Mr. Higingbotham was an avid golfer.
Mr. Higingbotham is survived by his wife, Ginger; his step-son, Brett Fordham (J.J.); his grandson, Gage Fordham; and his sister, Patty Smith (Tim).
