Mr. Leonard M. Rouse, age 100, of Eastman died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Dr. Jerry Peele, Rev. Joe Daniel, and Dr. Rick Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Rouse was born December 15, 1916 in Jesup, Georgia. Mr. Rouse was the owner of Alfred Dorman Grocery Company. He was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, a WWII Navy Veteran, member of The Eastman Rotary Club, American Legion, and Civilian Conservation Corp.
He is survived by daughters, Lynn Timmer (Chuck) and Catherine Harrington (Scooter); son Alan Rouse (Maureen); grandchildren, Mike Rouse, Bryan Rouse, Shawn Rouse, Alana Meeler, Christi Brownlow, Bobby Rouse, Stephen Rouse, Alysa Rouse, Jimmy Carroll, Candi Carroll, Casey Cook (Bissy), Wil Harrington (Melia), and Ellen Harrington; several Great and Great Great Grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elva Rouse and son, Meric Rouse.
