Mrs. Leaette Braswell, age 95, died Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11 AM in Hardy-Towns Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Braswell was born July 27, 1928 in Ludowici, Georgia to the late Alma Odom and Homer Alford. She was an educator for 70 years and retired from the Dodge County School System. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and choir member.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Braswell; sons, Keith Braswell (Marcia), Kirk Braswell, and Kipp Braswell; grandchildren, William Braswell (Kelsey), Melissa Meister (Drake), Lillian Millier (Tom), Rebecca Braswell, Matthew Braswell (Becca), Susanna Braswell, Phillip Braswell, Jake Braswell, Brooks Braswell; great-grandchildren, Oscar Meister and Garrett Meister.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her
infant son, Kevin Braswell; and siblings, Mable Smith and Myrtice Edwards.
