Mr. Kirby Gray, age 56, passed into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior. Rev. Aubrey Corbitt and Benji Roland will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Milan City Cemetery.
Mr. Gray was a member at Milan Baptist Church. After graduating high school in 1986, he attended Middle Georgia College on a baseball scholarship. He continued his baseball career at Shorter College. When college concluded, Kirby entered into a career with Coca-Cola where he became the Office Manager at the Brunswick office. He was also a valued employee at Quality Health.
In his free time, Mr. Gray was an avid sports fan. There was no sport that he didn't enjoy. He could readily discuss strategies, statistics, and player backgrounds with ease. He was especially fond of playing softball. Mr. Gray was a major fan of Auburn University athletics. He valued his family above all else. His daughter GG was the light of his life.
Mr. Gray is survived by his daughter, Graham "GG" Gray; his brother, Bodie Gray (Michelle); and his nephews, Jordy Gray (Teresa), Brooks Gray (Lauren), and Spencer Butler (Ashley).
He is predeceased by his parents, George Walter Gray and Jean Jones Gray.
