Mr. Kenneth Williamson, age 79, of Eastman died Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Ted Goshorn officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Orphans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 til 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Williamson was born October 12, 1938, in Eastman to the late Billie Amason Williamson and James Felix Williamson. He was a member of Eastman First Methodist Church, retired from The United States Navy and Robins Air Force Base, a member of The Eastman Masonic Lodge, Shriners, and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Faulk Williamson of Eastman; daughter Marlas Williamson (Bobbie) of Eastman; Son, Jimmy Williamson (Margaret) of Athens, Ga.; grandchildren, Sarah Williamson and Mac Williamson; brother, J.M. Williamson of Eastman; sister and brothers-in-law, Elise Suggs (Bill) of Eastman and Billy Faulk of Orlando, Fl.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to St Judes Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
The University of Georgia Police Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers and Honorary pallbearers will be Tom West, Sonny Giddens, Norman Taylor, Hal Smith, and Dr. James Tison. Pianist will be Lisa Hardy.
The family will be at Mr. Williamson's residence, 879 Gum Swamp Rd., Eastman, Ga.
