Mrs. Johnnie Frances Knight, age 86, of Eastman, Georgia passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 13, 2026. Visitation will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:00 am at Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Knight was born on December 11, 1939 to the late Fannie Horne and Wesley Rogers. She was a graduate of Dodge County High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Eastman where she attended the Esther Sunday School Class. She also frequently attended Bay Springs Freewill Baptist. She was an exceptional homemaker for many years and excelled in cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was very talented in the garden where she could grow beautiful flowers and produce. Above all, she loved her family and time spent together.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Mike Knight (Dawn); her grandchildren, Michael Knight Jr. (Meagan), Thomas Knight (Delaney), and Annie Knight Cook (Grant); her great-grandchildren Mary Alice Knight and James Knight; her siblings, Eloise Purvis, Lucille Driggers (Gary), Buford Rogers (Louise), Sharon Thompson (Ron); her brothers and sisters in law, Ronny Knight (Wanda), Barbara Knight, and Marie Knight.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Knight is predeceased by her husband, James M. Knight.
