Mrs. Jean J. Gray, age 81, of Eastman passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Dodge County Hospital Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023 in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Aubrey Corbitt and Mr. Robbie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Milan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 til 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gray, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend,
was born June 2, 1942 in McRae, Georgia to the late Flora Mae Beasley and Robert Jones. She was member of Milan Baptist Church, retired from Robins AFB and later served as Milan City Clerk.
She is survived by two sons, Bodie Gray (Michelle) and Kirby Gray; grandchildren, Jordy Gray (Teresa), Brooks Gray (Lauren), Spencer Butler, and Graham "G.G." Gray; great grandchildren, Makenly Gray, Emmy Gray, Karsyn Gray, and Easton Gray; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter Gray and siblings, Bo Jones, Dub Jones, Clayton Jones, Guy T. Jones, Bill Jones, Madie Sheffield, and Betty Simmons.
