Mrs. Jane Benton Wingate, age 84, of Eastman died Saturday, September 29, 2012.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wingate, the daughter of the late Hazel Mullis and Josh Benton, is survived by one son, Tim Wingate; grandchildren, Alfred Ellis Wingate and Leslie Anne Wingate; great grandchild, Chevy George Wingate; sisters, Merian Kirkley and Tootsie Powers; cousins, Lynda Franklin, W.S. Stuckey Jr., Bill Mullis, Mary Ann Windham, Beverly Burns Flowers, Avery Burns, Patricia Dobbins, Patricia Mullis, Hazel Giddens, Lewis Winburn, and Joanne Hardin; good friend and caregiver, Juanita Hall.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Henry (J.H.) Wingate; son James Lynn Wingate; sister Marian Dyal.
