Mr. James Otto Woodard, age 83, of Eastman died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Eastman Healthcare and Rehab.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Zebulon Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilbanks officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The committal service will be held in the church.
Mr. Woodard was born November 26, 2015 in Dodge County to the late Winnie Giddens and John J. Woodard. He was a member and deacon at Zebulon Baptist Church, served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Robins Air Force Base. He served for many years with The Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Marie Mullis (Ronnie); Siblings, Berta Coursey and Johnzelle Woodard (Sheila); grandchildren, Michelle Wynn (Sean), Jessica Johnson, Ashley Johnson, and Skye Mullis (Mitch Arnold); Great Grandchildren, Cole Arnold, Haley Arnold, and Autumn Wynn.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Eulene Eason Woodard; Children, Patricia Johnson, James Herbert Woodard, and James Otto Woodard Jr.; siblings, Zelma Grimsley, Lorene Hale, and Edmond R. Woodard.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to Zebulon Baptist Church.
The family will be at Mr. Woodard's residence, 934 Golf Course Rd.
