Mr. Wendell Mullis, age 61, of Chauncey died Monday, June 13, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Zion Hope Baptist Church with Rev. James Hammock officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mullis was born September 5, 1954 in Telfair County. He was employed by The Dodge County Board of Education and a member of Zion Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Mullis of Chauncey; Children, Tyler Mullis of Chauncey, Robert Tripp (Crystal) of Chauncey, and Amanda Harding (Brian) of Milan; mother, Virgie Mae Stanley of Chauncey; Siblings, Rex Stanley (Peggy) of Jesup, Ga. and Faye Ipock (Tom) of North Carolina; grandchildren, Maggie Hardin, Michael Tripp, Emily Tripp, and Hunter Tripp.
