Mr. James M. Knight, age 80, of Eastman died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Dodge County Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Knight was born January 11, 1940 in Laurens County to the late Alice Lamb Knight and Monroe Knight. He was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and the DOC Sunday School Class. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, a member of Eugene Smith Masonic Lodge #279 as well as a Shriner.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Rogers Knight; son, Dr. Mike Knight (Dawn); Grandchildren, Michael Knight Jr. (Meagan Savage), Thomas Knight (Delaney), and Annie Knight all of Eastman; brother, Ronnie Knight (Wanda); Brothers and Sisters-in law, Barbara Knight, Marie Knight, Eloise Purvis, Buford Rogers (Louise), Lucille Driggers (Gary), and Sharon Thompson (Ron). Several nieces and nephews also survived.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Charles Knight, Zellie Ann Rooks, and Wayne Knight.
