Mr. Jack Taylor, age 82, of Milan died Friday, September 18, 2020 at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Chauncey City Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born September 27, 1937 in Telfair County to the late Rebecca Dowdy and Clinton Taylor. He was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor worked at WRAFB as well as the Department of Corrections.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Taylor; children, Lisa Evans (Robert), Lynn Brown (Tim), and Jill Miller (Lewis); son-in-law, Ronnie Jones; grandchildren, Cale Brown (Paige), Chris Brown (Dana), Josh Evans (Brittany), Joah Evans (Brittany), Dylan Brown (Jaye), Courtney Jones (Tyler), Emily Livingston (Warner), Lucas Miller, and Lana Miller; great-grandchildren, Lylah Evans, Harper Brown, Briley Brown, and Jax Evans; brother, Freddie Doris, Sr.; special friends, Rex and Faye Giddens; and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Jackie Jones; siblings, Lamar Taylor, Bobby Taylor, Marvel Pinson, and Ted Taylor.
