Mr. Jack D. Sheffield, age 87, of Eastman died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 in Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Fred Parker and Rev. Mike Grenade officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 til 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sheffield was born March 6, 1928 in Eastman, Georgia. He was the son of the late Christine Parkerson Sheffield and Lonnie Sheffield. He was a member of New Union Baptist Church. He was a retired businessman and former owner of Otasco.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Cofield of Macon, Ga.; son Danny Sheffield of Eastman; grandsons, Dan Sheffield and Cody Sheffield, both of Eastman; Great grandsons, Daython Sheffield, Tucker Sheffield, and Ty Sheffield.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Peacock Sheffield and granddaughter, Kari Cofield; siblings, Hoyt Sheffield, Betty Estachete, and Hazel Berger.
